It is the second largest department store in Europe, which makes it a very popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Whether you are after a unique eating and drinking experience on the top floor or want to discover the latest trends in the world of fashion, beauty or interior, this department store is an unmissable sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2017, French architect and designer India Mahdavi was asked to redesign the womenswear section of the store and decided to celebrate Berlin&#8217;s cultural heritage by drawing inspiration from the iconic Bauhaus style. Did you know that no less than 1.800 sqm of Santamargherita marble were used for this project?
