St. Martins Lane Hotel, London<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was decorated by architect and designer Philippe Starck: a name that\nensures the St.Martins Lane Hotel<\/em> in\nLondon a place of honour among the world’s coolest designer hotels. The hotel\nis in the heart of the West End, in Covent Garden, and welcomes its guests in a\nfoyer designed in an essential style, embellished with details and designer\nworks. The rooms have large windows, as wide as the walls, and the light shines\nover the furnishings selected by Starck: a minimalist and elegant design that\nconveys a feeling of space and breadth. The lighting is also the leitmotiv of\nthe hotel’s Light Bar, where effects of colourful light give the place a\nspecial ambiance and light up the walls decorated with the iconic photographs\nof Jean Baptiste Mondino. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conrad Maldives Rangali\nIsland, Maldives<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the underwater restaurant, the exclusive Conrad Maldives Rangali Island<\/em> resort in the Maldives offers its guests The Muraka<\/em> \u2013 an entire villa surrounded by the Indian Ocean. In addition to the infinity pool, the private gym, accommodation for the butler, the bar and the two private piers to watch sunrise and sunset from, guests can enjoy a special show from their bedroom. In fact, the room is 5 metres underwater and is glazed all around to admire the depths of the ocean.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treehotel, Sweden<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the depths of the Maldives to the treetops in northern Sweden: the Treehotel<\/em> in Harads is not just<\/em> a hotel, it is an unforgettable experience for those who wish to stay in luxury rooms while feeling in complete harmony with nature. A team of well-known designers and architects created in 2010 this unique hotel, with rooms that are all different, completely integrated into the surrounding forest. The Mirrorcube<\/em> \u2013 a suspended \u201chiding place\u201d among the trees \u2013 certainly stands out \u2013 it consists of a box covered in mirrors that reflect the surrounding environment, thereby making it completely invisible. The Bird’s Nest<\/em>, on the other hand, is a room in the shape of a bird’s nest, completely integrated in nature but featuring contemporary design elements inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katamama, Seminyak, Bali<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seminyak \u2013 a seaside resort in the south of the island of Bali \u2013 hosts Katamama<\/em>: a boutique hotel with 58 luxury suites where everything revolves around local craftsmanship. Every brick in the premises was handmade in the local villages, as well as the batik textiles, runners and rugs, whereas the teak furniture is custom-made. In the hotel you will also find the great classics of Danish design from the last century \u2013 such as the chairs by Hans J Wegner and Arne Jacobsen \u2013 which are carefully juxtaposed with the objects created by Balinese artisans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
