The new Hershesons Salon<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 an exclusive beauty salon, an original designer space created with Santamargherita materials<\/strong> \u2013 opened last June in Harvey Nichols, in London’s Fitzrovia district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The idea is to place\nthe customer entirely at the centre of a multi-sensory and regenerating\nexperience that cannot be experienced anywhere else<\/strong>, explain Luke and\nDaniel Hersheson. Everything is built\naround the customer<\/strong>, their needs, their commitments and their lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the pioneering\napproach<\/strong> that has always distinguished them, father and son have developed\na brilliant solution, which combines eclecticism\nand functionality<\/strong>, thereby marking a turning\npoint in the new generation of super salons<\/strong> dedicated to the world of\nbeauty and wellness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To design this important project, Luke and Daniel Hersheson enjoyed the collaboration of architect Racheline Michaels and GP Studio<\/a><\/strong>, whose synergy gave life to the particular design that distinguishes the salon. Not the traditional combination of mirrors, lights and seating, but a mix of styles, ideas and shapes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The touch of GP Studio<\/strong> is recognised in the simple designs and essential shapes<\/strong>, the airiness and brightness of the spaces<\/strong> that blend in with each other in a flowing dynamism that diverges from the standard.<\/strong> Not only that, the signature of this group of designers<\/em> is also noted in the choice of cladding materials, where the Italian excellence of the Santamargherita brand<\/strong> stands out. It is not the first time that GP Studio<\/strong> turns to Strata Tiles,<\/a><\/strong> a brand<\/em> that enjoys a great reputation among designers<\/em> and architects, not only for their proven professionalism and experience in the sector, but also for the high quality of the products<\/strong> they resell. The Santamargherita claddings<\/strong>, already chosen to design the refined concept store<\/em> of the Vashi jewellery and goldsmith<\/a><\/strong> shop at 46 Piccadilly, are now used in the pioneering Knightsbridge project for the flooring of a VIP area<\/em><\/strong>, dedicated to cuts, make-up and styling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SM Marble \u2013 Nero Portoro<\/a><\/strong> and SM \u2013 Marble Arabescato Bianco<\/a><\/strong> create a continuous geometric pattern<\/strong>, which conveys marked dynamism in the duotone of two timeless colours, such as black and white. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A touch of character, reminiscent of Escher’s shapes <\/strong>and optical illusions<\/strong>, in the repeatability\nof regular shapes that are never seen the same because they are always observed\nfrom different perspectives. Two dressing\ntables<\/em> run above this marble chessboard with elliptical-shaped retractable\nmirrors, comfortable adjustable seats with mirrored backs and power hubs<\/em> to power smartphones, laptops and tablets<\/em>. The choice of these two\nmarble-based agglomerates is based on practical and aesthetic reasons, because\nit guarantees resistance over time<\/strong>, simple maintenance<\/strong>, elegance and style<\/strong>, thus fulfilling the\nneeds of those carrying out the work and the more demanding customer.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
