Locates in the heart of the City of London and historic financial district, 77 Coleman Street is just a few minutes\u2019 walk from opulent retail and leisure offerings, high-quality restaurants and five-star hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overlooking Coleman Street Gardens, construction at 77 Coleman Street commenced in Spring 2018 with the building comprising 6.300,00 m2 of office space and 1.500 sm2 of retail and leisure space. It includes a four-metre high reception and breakout area as the building\u2019s main entrance, and a new public street named Nun Court, linking Coleman Street with Moorgate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Santamargherita products conquer the city of London<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

SM Marble – Palladio Griso<\/a> and Palladio Doge<\/a> were selected by the architect Buckley Gray Yeoman<\/a> for the main entrance of the building because of its versatile nature and because reconstitued stone “terrazzo” effect  is perfectly suited to this type of commercial project due to its high resistance and low maintenance requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with our local partner Strata Tiles Ltd<\/a> we fabricated 75×75 tiles into grids with square inserts of different colours following the architectural design influenced by the lighting above in order to create an homogeneous feeling as you enter the entrance impactful with its high ceilings, warm open space, integrated caf\u00e9 and shared workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you initially enter the building, Palladio Doge tile inserts are filled with a door mat material, while into the reception area flooring tiles have been built in Palladio Doge with an insert of contrasting colour Palladio Griso. Each small insert of the contrasting colour was glued into place at the factory and repolished to achieve a perfect level and homogeneous aesthetic effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our SM Marble<\/a> products have been used in other applications including the bar area, tabletops and on the reception desk, proving its versatility and hardwearing nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are proud to have worked on such innovative project knowing that the flooring is a key element in bringing harmony into a open entrance space designed to bring people together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
